The new trailer for Marvel Studios’ upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp debuted today. When I first heard about Ant-Man going to the big screen I was on the fence. I didn’t think it would be a good movie. Glad I was wrong.
Aside from the brilliant performance of Paul Rudd, one of the highlights of the movie for me was the fantastic performance of Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne. She was everything you want from a modern day Wasp.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is directed by Peyton Reed. The movie stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, and Michael Douglas. Michael Peña makes a return.
I didn’t know Michelle freakin’ Pfeiffer will play Janet van Dyne! Which tells me the mission is to rescue her from the Quantum Realm. Is that the main mission? Is it a side mission? Looks like this one will be another heist movie, so we will have to wait and see.
Laurence Fishburne will play Dr. Bill Foster aka Black Goliath. It’ll be interesting to see how he works into the story. Is he there just to play the role of Apollo Creed or will he suit up and join in the fight? Cannot wait to see Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost. She’s pretty great in Killjoys.
Ant-Man and the Wasp hits U.S. theaters July 6.
