Long time WWE superstar, Dustin Rhodes has officially moved on from WWE. Dustin took to Twitter earlier today to give an emotional goodbye to his Goldust character.

I remember seeing “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes teaming up with Barry Windham in WCW back in the early 90’s. I enjoyed his style. It’s crazy to think the Goldust character debuted in 1995 (!!!) beating Marty Jannetty at the In Your House 4 pay-per-view. The character lasted a lot longer than I ever though it would have gone. It says something about Dustin’s commitment to the character with how he was able to get it over and make it last so long. Quite impressive.
Dustin Rhodes penned a more formal goodbye to the WWE and the WWE Universe:
Official Statement: Done on my own terms. Thank you to the @WWEUniverse @wwe and the world of entertainment. #wrestling #DustinRhodes pic.twitter.com/dEwtjTm3Zg

With Dustin Rhodes released from his WWE contact and now free from any non-compete clauses, it was announced yesterday Dustin will be facing Cody at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view for All Elite Wrestling on May 25th at the MGM Grand. This will be the first time Dustin has wrestled outside of WWE since 2013.

Dustin cut one hell of a promo on Episode 13 of The Road to Double or Nothing:
